The Lax Kw’alaams Band would like to welcome George Cooper to the Band Office, now in the role of Communications Officer

George brings over 10 years of customer service experience and joins us from Citywest. While he has spent much of his working life outside the community, including in Prince Rupert, he is excited to contribute to the Band and support the community through his new role.

A proud member of the community, George grew up in Lax Kw’alaams and is the son of JoAnn Sankey (Cooper). He looks forward to helping share community stories and events through photos, social media, and other communications.
