Lax Kw’alaams’ WAAP Housing Society is proposing a 38-unit residential building at 836 3rd Avenue West, in the lot beside the Lax Kw’alaams Hall.
This development aims to enhance community sustainability and provide much-needed affordable housing in Prince Rupert. To achieve this, we are requesting an amendment to the OCP City Core Building Heights Framework to allow a height variance from the current permissible height of 16 meters (52.5 ft) to 20 meters (65.6 ft).
We invite you to join us at a Public Open House to learn more about the proposed changes for a new residential development at 836 3rd Avenue West and to share your feedback with us.
