The water leak that was found on route to the water treatment plant this week has now been repaired by maintenance crews.

The community of Lax Kw’alaams is no longer on temporary reservoir water supply.

The Lax Kw’alaams Band would like to thank the community for the role they played in conserving water in the water reservoir, and thanks everyone for their support and cooperation.

Water demand yesterday was significantly less than normal, due to the conservation efforts of the whole community.
