Please be advised that the Spirit of Lax Kw’alaams will be out of service starting September 11.

The Lax Kw’alaams Ferry is temporarily out of service due to a damaged propeller. Temporary barge and passenger water taxi services will begin September 11.

Vehicles will travel by Barge. Passengers will travel separately by water taxi.

Passengers will drop off their vehicles at CT Marine’s yard in the Prince Rupert industrial park. See maps below. The operator’s crew will load vehicles onto the barge.

Bus transportation is arranged for passengers between CT Marine and Gat Leedm Dock in Prince Rupert after they drop off their vehicles.

Ferry crew will assist passengers and collect fares on the Prince Rupert side.

Passengers arriving at Tuck Landing may need to wait for the barge before collecting their vehicles. The barge crossing takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Tuck Landing: 9:30am | 5:30pm

Passenger Water Taxi Departures
Gat Leedm Dock, Prince Rupert: 8:30am | 4:30pm
Tuck Landing: 10:00am | 6:00pm
