Lax Kw'alaams Ferry|

The Spirit of Lax Kw’alaams is working to install the engine part, and will not be in service Tuesday May 28, 2024. A barge and water taxi will run in lieu of the previously scheduled sailings. To improve accessibility, the water taxi has added a second stop to pick up foot passengers at Gat Leedm Dock.

Amix Group Terminal barge is located at the end of Mish Aw Road, in the Prince Rupert industrial site. Vehicle passengers will load their vehicle to the barge, and travel by water taxi.

Gat Leedm Dock is located at 90 Charlie Currie Road near Cow Bay. Foot passengers may board the water taxi at either Amix Group Terminal (with vehicle passengers) or at Gat Leedm Dock. The ramp at the Gat Leedm Dock is more accommodating for travellers with accessibility needs.

Due to space limitations, all passengers, including foot passengers, must make a reservation by calling 250-625-2445. Regular ferry fares apply when travelling on the barge and water taxi.
