Due to engine issues, the Spirit of Lax Kw’alaams will not be in service Monday May 20, 2024. A barge and water taxi will run in lieu of the previously scheduled sailings.

Departure times and location – barge and water taxi:

Amix group Terminal: 7am
Tuck Inlet: 9am
Amix group Terminal: 4pm
Tuck Inlet: 6pm

Amix Group Terminal barge is located at the end of Mish Aw Road (in the Prince Rupert industrial site). Vehicle passengers will load their vehicle here to the barge, and travel by water taxi, due to Transport Canada limitations. Ferry passengers will pay regular ferry fares, when travelling on the barge and water taxi.

The crew will continue to update travellers as soon as possible about future ferry services.
