Scheduled Water Reservoir Maintenance

The Water Department is planning cleaning and maintenance of the Lax Kw’alaams community water reservoir from October 13–17.

To prepare for this work, the reservoir level will be lowered to approximately 20% of its full capacity five days in advance. Starting October 8, residents may notice drops in water pressure leading up to and during the cleaning.

Please conserve water and avoid unnecessary high-volume water use until the work is complete and the reservoir has returned to normal operating levels.

The Water Department will monitor the water system throughout the maintenance, provide updates as necessary, and issue a notice when normal operations have resumed. Thank you for your cooperation.
