Reconciliation Engagement Workshop

July 27 & 28, 2024
10 AM – 4 PM both days
The workshops will be held simultaneously In Lax Kw’alaams at the Elders Lodge & In Prince Rupert at the Community Hall for Membership

Topics covered:
– The draft Da’ax Kw’alaams Man-Ayaawx Constitution
– Long-term governance visioning and planning
– The BC Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act and law-making for Lax Kw’alaams.

Honorariums are available for members of Lax Kw’alaams that participate, and all the participants will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a Honda generator, trip to Vancouver (for non- Vancouver residents), 2025 All Native Basketball Tournament full- week pass, Canucks tickets, or a $300 Visa Gift card!
