Please see the below notice of election for Mayor and Council, notice of election for Office of Trustees, and the final candidates list for Mayor, Council and Trustees.

Notice of polling locations:

Polling locations will be Lax Kw’alaams Elders Lodge at the Lax Kw’alaams Rec Centre and Lax Kw’alaams Business Development LP at 100 1st Ave East Prince Rupert – November 19, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

For those unable to vote in person:

For Mayor and Council – any elector who wishes to vote by mail may do so by requesting a mail in ballot voting package directly from the electoral officer. There is no electronic voting permitted for Mayor and Council.

For Trustee – vote by electronic ballot from October 19, 2019 to 8:00 PM on November 19, 2019. To register to vote electronically, please visit https://onefeather.ca/nations/lax-kwalaams
You can only vote electronically for Trustee, there is NO electronic voting permitted for Mayor and Council.
