Dredging in harbour entrance January 18, 2021 – February 15, 2021

Attention all Lax Kw’alaams Harbour Users:

Please be advised that dredging is scheduled to be conducted in the harbour entrance from January 18, 2021 to February 15, 2021.

In order to maintain the safe access to the harbour during dredging, the following radio contact protocal will be implemented.  All harbour users are required to provide a minimum of one hour notice on VHF Marine Radio Channel 71 prior to entering or exiting the harbour basin.  If you do not provide notice on VHF Marine Radio Channel 71 at least one hour before entering or exiting the harbour, your ability to enter or exit will be delayed.
