Lax Kw’alaams is excited to announce that it is launching a new employment and training database in partnership with the Saskatchewan First Nations Natural Resource Center of Excellence that will enable members to do the following:

  • Create work profiles;
  • Craft resumes with a Resume Builder;
  • Register Lax Kw’alaams Band businesses to be matched with available opportunities;
  • Track the needs of membership with training programs as they become available; and
  • Much more!

Lax Kw’alaams members interested in finding out more about the database and this partnership are invited to attend information sessions being held in Prince Rupert and Lax Kw’alaams.

The Saskatchewan First Nations Natural Resource Center of Excellence is mandated to provide support and work with First Nation communities in creating opportunities for the innovative, sustainable and environmentally responsible development of the natural resources within their lands and Indigenous territories.
