Lax Kw’alaams Youth Week 2026 is coming up August 16–22, featuring a full week of fun, cultural activities, and outdoor adventures in Lax Kw’alaams and Prince Rupert.

- August 16, 2026: Welcome Lunch & Meet the Youth Council — Lax Kw’alaams
The event starts at 12:00 p.m. All ages are welcome. - August 17, 2026: Hiking & Gigantic Fun Games — Prince Rupert
The activity runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All ages are welcome. - August 18, 2026: Drum Making with Tina Robinson — Lax Kw’alaams
The workshop runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participants must be 12 years or older. There are 10 spots available. - August 19, 2026: Ancient Village Sites Boat Tour with Oots’n Reconnection Services — Prince Rupert
The tour runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants must be 12 years or older. There are 12 spots available. - August 20, 2026: Formline Workshop with Candace Geen — Lax Kw’alaams
The workshop runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All ages are welcome. - August 21, 2026: Whale Watching Tour with Prince Rupert Adventure Tours — Prince Rupert
The tour runs from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All ages are welcome. There are 15 spots available. - August 22, 2026: Fishing Tour with Oots’n Reconnection Services — Prince Rupert
The tour runs from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Participants must be 12 years or older. There are 12 spots available.
