Information Sharing: Indigenous Mentorship Pathway
Bridge to Campus is launching an Indigenous Mentorship Pathway to provide holistic, culturally relevant support for Indigenous high school students interested in post-secondary education. Registration is now open, and the program starts October 15.
Students will have the option to be matched with an Indigenous undergraduate mentor at McGill, U of T, Waterloo, Queen’s, or UBC, based on their background and academic or career interests.
With support from their mentor, students can:
- Explore universities and choose the right university for them
- Learn about scholarships and funding opportunities
- Explore specific admissions pathways for Indigenous students
- Plan for their finances and future career
- Develop skills for university life
- Connect with Indigenous resources and campus communities
- Get support with the transition to university
Bridge to Campus can also offer virtual presentations covering the undergraduate admissions process, available supports, and post-secondary opportunities for Indigenous students.
Student privacy and safe online interactions are prioritized through Bridge to Campus’s Privacy Policy.
