Lax Kw’alaams is located on the Northwest Coast of British Columbia, near Prince Rupert.
The community is accessible by the Spirit of Lax Kw’alaams, a daily ferry (see below for schedule and details), or by water taxi.
The Spirit of Lax Kw’alaams ferry departs from Aero Point in Prince Rupert and arrives at Tuck Inlet. The commute to Lax Kw’alaams takes approximately 40 minutes, followed by a 20-minute drive from Tuck Inlet to Lax Kw’alaams.

Ferry Rates
Vehicle and Driver: $32 one way
Adult: $21 one way
Senior/Student: $15 one way
Children 5 and Under: Free

Cash, purchase order, debit/credit cards onboard or tickets can be purchased at the Band Office in Lax Kw’alaams.
