Bringing families together for a film screening and firefighter celebration dinner!

  • Lax Kw’alaams Recreation Gymnasium
  • Doors open at 3:30pm
  • Film screening at 4:00pm
  • Dinner at 5:00pm

Spend time together as families, learn about traditional harvesting at Dundas Island during the screening of the 17 minute film Lax Kw’alaams Traditional Harvesting, and celebrate the achievements of our amazing firefighters at the 40th Annual BC Indigenous Firefighter Competition!

Special guests Farhan Umedaly, Producer of the Lax Kw’alaams Traditional Harvesting Film, and the Lax Kw’alaams Firefighters.
