European Green Crab Community Engagement Session

Lax Kw’alaams Fisheries, together with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), invites community members to an informative session on the European Green Crab, an invasive species impacting local marine ecosystems.

The event will feature presentations from Lax Kw’alaams Fisheries staff and DFO invasive species personnel, covering the European green crab’s biology, environmental impacts, and proactive management strategies. Participants will also receive identification guides and educational resources, followed by a Q&A session.
