July 28, 2023 – Lax Kw’alaams

Charter provided from Prince Rupert to Lax Kw’alaams return. Charter leaves Gat Leedm Dock (old Wamplers) at 12pm. Return trip will start at 8pm by bus from the Recreation Centre. To be on the charter, call 250-624-5000 ext. 2002 or 250-625-3202

1:00pm – Light Lunch at the Recreation Centre

2:00pm – Elder Updates on the Truth and Reconciliation project, and Vancouver Elders Trip

Approximately 6pm – welcome canoe teams at the boat dock. Everyone welcome! Wear regalia and bring a drum

Approximately 6:30pm – catered dinner & cultural performances at the Recreation Centre.

All day – cultural support and hair dresser
