Elder / Survivor Reunion 2026
The Lax Kw’alaams Truth and Reconciliation Residential School Project Team invites Elders, Survivors, and intergenerational Survivors 65+ years of age to the Nation-to-Nation Elder/Survivor Reunion.
📅 Date: June 25–26, 2026
🕘 Time: Doors open at 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Prince Rupert Civic Centre Auditorium
This special two-day gathering will bring together Elders and Survivors from Prince Rupert and surrounding communities to reconnect, share information, celebrate culture, and strengthen relationships.
Attendees will be provided with coffee, baked goods, and lunch each day. Dinner will be served on June 25 only.
Activities include cultural presentations, wellness supports, complimentary haircuts, project information, historic photos, and special presentations from NCTR, Castlemain, and FNHA.
Support will be available for Status Card renewals and applications. Please bring appropriate government-issued ID if you are renewing your Status Card. Assistance will also be available for Indian Hospital Settlement sign-up forms.
