The Truth and Reconciliation Department and Lands Department have piled logs for firewood for general community use in Lax Kw’alaams. We are actively setting up a small mill and have set aside a pile of wood that anyone is welcome to help themselves to.

Please use all safety precautions when collecting the wood. Location to cut and collect logs is located in the image below (please leave logs alone inside fence).

Please think of others when accessing the designated pile. If you’re able to help elders, please do.
