Lax Kw’alaams Band Council invites you to connect at a meet and greet in Prince Rupert and Lax Kw’alaams.

Prince Rupert:
Lax Kw’alaams Hall, 824 3rd Ave W
Wednesday May 1, 2024 – 7 pm

Lax Kw’alaams:
Council Chambers
Thursday May 2, 2024 – 7 pm

Coffee with Council is intended to create a venue where the membership can speak directly with the newly elected councillors – and for council to learn about the membership’s priorities and concerns. The membership and council are encouraged to interact 1-1 with each other. The goal of this is to increase communication and reduce barriers between council and the membership. From these conversations with the membership, council can move forward with this information at the council and portfolio level.

The Lax Kw’alaams Band elected leadership looks forward to this opportunity to meet with the membership in person.
