Join us for College Knowledge 101
Are you curious about what college life is really like? Want to learn how to prepare for living away from home? If you’re a First Nations, Métis, or Inuit youth between the ages of 14 and 18, Coast Mountain College (CMTN) invites you to apply for College Knowledge 101—an exciting, immersive experience designed just for you.
Over 2.5 days, you’ll:
– Learn about Coast Mountain College programs through engaging information sessions
– Tour the campus and get to know our learning spaces
– Stay for two nights in Wii Gyemsiga Siwilaawksat, our beautiful student housing building
You’ll also take part in meaningful cultural experiences. Kick off the first evening by preparing and sharing a welcome meal together. On the second evening, enjoy a traditional meal and dance hosted by a local dance group.
There is no cost to attend! CMTN will cover your travel to Terrace and provide a small stipend to each student who completes the experience. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore your future, connect with others, and experience college life first-hand!
Dates: July 2-4, 2025
Location: CMTN Terrace Campus
