Bank of Montreal Indigenous Personal Banking Program

Dear Lax Kw’alaams Community Member,
The BMO Bank of Montreal Prince Rupert Branch would like to invite you to open a bank account
under our Indigenous Personal Banking Program!

In addition to the attached information sheet, we would like to offer Lax Kw’alaams Community
Members an additional year of free banking under the program (two years in total).

In order to proceed with an account opening, please connect with Frances Weir, Branch Manager
as she would be happy to schedule an appointment for you to discuss the program in-depth as
well as our banking offerings with our staff.

  We will also be opening the branch on two Saturdays for additional appointments:
• Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 9:30am – 5:00pm
• Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 9:30am – 5:00pm
  Our branch staff will also provide you with a Direct Deposit form which can be provided to Lax
  Kw’alaams for direct payments. Direct Deposit forms will also be accessible online and through
  the BMO Mobile app.
