A Call for Copper: Honouring Those Affected by Miller Bay

We invite individuals, families, and communities affected by the Miller Bay TB Hospital to take part in a meaningful nation-to-nation effort led by the Lax Kw’alaams Band.

We are gathering small pieces of copper to be included in the creation of a monument that will stand at the entrance to Miller Bay along the highway in Prince Rupert honouring and remembering all who were affected.

Those who are able and willing can send a small piece of copper by mail. These contributions will be incorporated into the monument forever, symbolizing remembrance and strength.
